Even when pre-schoolers, kids try to adorn
themselves with nails covered with nail enamel on their own or with
their parents’ aid. But it must be made clear to children from the very
early age that such kind of procedure should be arranged by
specialists. There exist significant anatomico-physiological
particularities of the children’s nails which guide actions done by
manicure technician. The main phases of the usual manicure remain in
children’s manicure but a part of them is skipped, for instance the
surface of the nail is not treated, that means it is not smoothed and
polished. The motto of the children’s manicure is “do no harm”.
